Taki now asks before it guesses
When a transaction is unclear, Taki asks one focused question before continuing.

The question as it appears in Taki, with two choices and all context in one place.
Until now Taki posted what it was most confident about and set the rest aside in a list, as we wrote in issue No. 023. That worked, but the list could grow, and a suggestion is still a guess.
How it works
From this week the order is reversed. When Taki is unsure, it asks one short question before anything is posted.
- The question comes with two or three ready answers
- Context sits alongside, the transaction and its documents
- Your choice is remembered the next time the same vendor appears
What you will notice
- Fewer entries to double-check afterwards
- A shorter list under Needs your eye
- Books that match what you actually meant
You will find the setting under Bank and Reconciliation. It can be changed at any time and applies from the next transaction.
Reconciliation should not be a task you remember. It should be something that is simply done.
See how Taki asks, 45 seconds. Plays only when you press play.
The feature is on for everyone from today. Open bank reconciliation and see how it behaves with your numbers.
