Invoicing

Updated September 30, 2026

Tell the chat what the invoice should contain, and TAKI sets it up and shows it to you. Nothing goes out until you've confirmed.

How to create one

The more you include in your first message, the fewer rounds it takes. Write the customer first, then what you delivered, then the VAT rate and the dates last. Feel free to copy this and fill in your own numbers.

  • Create an invoice for [company name]. If you can't find the customer, fetch it from Brønnøysund.
  • [quantity] units of [product] at [price] kr per unit
  • [quantity] hours of [service] at [price] kr per hour
  • VAT rate [x] percent
  • Invoice date [date] and delivery date [date]
  • The invoice covers [text]

If the lines have different VAT rates, write the rate after each line.

If the invoice isn't in the overview

Then it's almost always not confirmed yet. Until you confirm in the chat it's a draft, and a wrong amount is cheaper to catch here than at your customer's. Go back to the conversation and confirm, and it goes out.

If the order number jumps

It's meant to. If you send an invoice you made a few days ago, TAKI makes sure no two get the same number, and that leaves a gap in the sequence. It means nothing for you or your customer, and you don't need to do anything.

If your customer requires EHF

Public bodies and larger companies often do. Tap Accountant in the menu on the left, new request, and ask to have it switched on. It isn't something you set up yourself yet.

How to find your invoices again

They're under Invoicing. You can also ask TAKI, for example “show me my latest invoices” or “who hasn't paid yet”.

Can't find the answer?

If it's an accounting question, take it up with your accountant inside TAKI. If it's about TAKI itself, we'll answer.
